Within the Circle

A circle of fire
A circle of light
We enter from the east
Ordinary time has ceased
To hold us
To blind us
We dance in a world free from pain
I hold you
I feel you
I hear you calling my name
I hear you calling my name

A circle of stones
The circle our home
We enter into sacred space
We enter the moment, a moment of grace
You touch me
You know me
The tenderness deep in my heart
You see me
You teach me
Receptivity singing your part
Receptivity: "Your souls belong"

Dancing with moonbeams
Dancing in clear dreams
Dancing out all that we are
Dancing — we re/member
Dancing — come together
A healing where the wounds are so raw

Alchemical burning
In the dance a returning
To the center where the universe sings
How did I find you?
How did I remind you
Of our past, our connection, our calling?

A circle of dew
A fairy ring, the green and the blue
The Mother, her smile
The Mother and the Infinite Child
Within, between
In you, in me
The Child is a gift to the soul
Breathing, alive
Moving, inside
The Child is a piece of the Whole
The Child soon releases the Whole

A circle of air
A circle so rare
We sit in the center
A gift of the spirit, invited to enter
Into life, transformation
Change, celebration
Joining together our songs
Of deep affirmation
Textured creation
I sing you you sing me the Call
I sing you you sing me the All

Dancing with moonbeams
Dancing in clear dreams
Dancing out all that we are
Dancing — we re/member
Dancing — come together
A healing where the wounds are so raw

Alchemical burning
In the dance a returning
To the center where the universe sings
How did I find you?
How did I remind you
Of our past, our connection, our calling?

A circle, empty
Nothing and totality
Who are you, who am I?
Meaningless questions at the edge of the night
Dancing, caressing
Loving, embracing
Our bodies are gifts from the gods
The journey together
We've touched the forever
That which can never be lost
The We that can never be lost

Dancing with moonbeams
Dancing in clear dreams
Dancing out all that we are
Dancing — we re/member
Dancing — come together
A healing where the wounds are so raw

Alchemical burning
In the dance a returning
To the center where the universe sings
How did I find you?
How did I remind you
Of our past, our connection, our calling?
